Because it stuck in my brain after I read this, and the only way to get rid of it was to finish it.
“They want you to come. I want you to come.” Bradley leaned against the doorway of Colin’s livingroom, arms folded.
Colin looked up from the book he was reading, his glasses falling down on his nose. “What are you talking about?”
“Soccer six.” Bradley pushed himself off the doorframe, taking a few steps in Colin’s direction.
Colin laughed, telling him he couldn’t play to save his life, “and you know that.” He was reading again, already losing interest in the topic. Soccer. Like hell.
Bradley came closer, standing only a few inches away from the sofa. “Well, you wouldn’t have to play. You could be my cheerleader,” he grinned, leaning down.
Colin looked at him with one eyebrow raised, his answer clear from the expression on his face.
Bradley rested his hands on the back of the sofa, beside Colin’s head. “You could also watch from the stands.” He nudged Colin’s nose with his, stroking Colin’s hair. “And you can play. I’ve been teaching you.”
“Yes, but it’s still not enough. I’m too awkward. It’s like I get extra limbs.” Colin frowned.
Bradley considered this for a moment, before taking Colin’s face in his hands. “You’re not awkward.” He looked him straight in the eyes, their foreheads almost touching. “I love your limbs. All five of them,” he added, and pressed his lips softly against Colin’s.
Colin pushed him off, trying but failing a pout. “Pervert,” he said, getting a haughty laugh from Bradley.
“So will you come?” Bradley asked, still smirking.
“Shut up.” Colin answered, his focus on the book again.
Bradley was already walking away, heading for the kitchen. “I’ll take that as a yes!” He called over his shoulder.
Colin just rolled his eyes at the book.

It all started on 28 November 2009, a Saturday, when ‘Love Fool’ - Secrets and Magic aired on BBC THREE for the first time. Colin and Bradley were shown, singin that song together, repeatedly, sharing headphones, dancing choreographed moves and displaying their epic love for the world to see.
Naturally, the fans got curious. Who’s idea was it? Who had they to thank for that song that would forever and always put an instant grin on their faces when listening to it.
So on 8 December 2009, a Tuesday, myfoolishheart went to the Lakeside booksigning and had the following conversation with Mr Morgan and Mr James.
Myfooloshheart: So Bradley, “you’re the voice”, your idea or Colin’s?
Bradley: *pause* It was a joint effort.
Colin: *laughs* It was my idea!! I did the video!!!
The fandom was satisfied and they let it rest. Not doubting the truth of that conversation, when, suddenly in February 2010 the Merlin Series 2 DVD box set was released, including an audio commentary for episode 2.10. “Sweet Dreams” in which Bradley surprisingly commented as follows:
Bradley: Oh, for the record, “you’re the voice” was, was my idea. Not Colin’s. He tried to claim that one yesterday.
Alice: Did he?
Bradley: He tried to claim that one yesterday!
Alice: That was so you because you were whistling it.
Bradley: Unbelievable. I can’t- I couldn’t believe it! Anyway…
The fandom was once more at a loss. Who was speaking the truth. Who was the one true creator of what everyone new as the inofficial/official Merlin-Fandom hymn? So on 26 July 2010 someone at Comic Con asked Colin where “You’re the Voice” came from, hopin to finally receive the answer. Colin answered as follows.
Colin: “Ehm, has anyone seen the film “Hot Rod”? Well, I was telling Bradley about it, I thought it was hilarious, and I was just talking about that moment in “Hot Rod” where that song “You’re the Voice” comes up and I was going: “What’s that song?” *humming* and he was “Yeah, I know that song!” and it kicked off and for, literally, the whole morning, he started, he started singing it and then the whole crew were singing it and *chuckles* then it sorta escalated. So, uhm yeah, that’s the, the origin of “You’re the Voice.”“
It was then and there that the fandom decided that “You’re the Voice” and it’s origin was as much Colin’s merit as it was Bradley’s. It was Brolin’s. Till this very day fanboys and fangirls all over the world listen to “You’re the Voice” and try to understand it. They make a noise and they make it clear. They are not gonna sit in silence.
And they didn’t.
In November 2011 at the Supanova Con in Brisbaine, Australia, some very lucky fans got the chance to sing it together with the very own Colin Morgan, making it clear just how much this song joins every single one of them together and how every single one of them has a voice that can and should be heard.
Because if you are a Merlin-Fan than You are the Voice.
